Lazio have hit form under coach Igor Tudor. The Biancocelesti are on a two-game winning streak ahead of round No. 34. Will our score prediction back Lazio to win against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico?

Hellas Verona have also hit form. They took four points from the last six points on offer. Those four points have helped propel the Gialloblu into 15th place, three points ahead of 18th-place Frosinone.

After spending much of the season in the bottom three, Hellas’ recent form will be well received by supporters. However, there are still five matches and 15 points to play for.

Lazio are seventh in the standings and six points off fifth-place Roma. Serie A could receive five Champions League qualification places for next season. The last five matches of the season are crucial for Lazio in the race for the top five.

The last two Serie A meetings between Lazio and Hellas Verona ended in draws. Both matches finished 1-1, which could lead many fans to expect another 1-1 draw between the clubs.

The reverse fixture saw Lazio take an early lead through Mattia Zaccagni after 23 minutes.

Hellas’ Thomas Henry hit back in the 70th minute, however, to deny Lazio all three points. Hellas Verona midfielder Ondrej Duda was sent off in the 77th minute.

Twenty-seven of Lazio’s 52 points have come at the Stadio Olimpico this season. Compared to seasons past, Lazio have not been fluent in front of goal.

Just 19 goals have been scored at home by Lazio. The defence allowed 13 to opponents.

Lazio are on a two-game winning streak at home. A 1-0 win over Juventus was followed by a 4-1 victory over Salernitana.

Hellas Verona picked up 11 of their 31 points on the road. They scored 13 goals and conceded 23 times to opponents away from the Bentegodi.

Despite the poor goal record, Hellas are unbeaten in their last three road matches, winning once and drawing two matches.

Ciro Immobile leads Lazio in goals with just six this season. It has been an uncharacteristic season for the Italian striker. The combination of a poor campaign under Maurizio Sarri and age has resulted in a low-goal total.

Cyril Ngonge is Hellas’ top goal scorer. He also has six goals in 2023-24. Hellas are the third-lowest scoring team in Serie A. They have scored just 31 times.

With Lazio’s improved home form, our score prediction is for the Biancocelesti to pick up a 3-2 win. The victory could help Lazio in their fight for the top five.
