Are Manchester United finding form at the right time?

Manchester United are unbeaten in back-to-back Premier League games, with West Ham on the horizon. Will Erik ten Hag’s team continue their undefeated form or will former manager David Moyes take them down a peg?

The Red Devils are coming off a wild 4-3 win at Molineux against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After leading 2-0, Wolves’ late rally saw them level the score 3-3 in the fifth minute of stoppage time. However, Man United’s Kobbie Mainoo scored in the 97th minute for the win.

Can the dramatic victory push Man United into a fight for the top four? West Ham will aim to slow them down at Old Trafford.

The Theatre of Dreams has been a venue of nightmares for West Ham over the years. The Hammers failed to win 20 of their last 21 matches at Old Trafford in all competitions.

The good news for Moyes and company is West Ham’s recent form against United.

West Ham won their last two games versus United by a combined score of 3-0. That includes a 2-0 victory earlier this campaign.

Although that winning trend looks good on paper, it must be remembered that both victories came at the London Stadium and not Old Trafford.

Manchester United are on a three-game win streak against West ham at Old Trafford and are looking for a fourth straight victory at home against the Hammers.

United went unbeaten in four of their last five home matches in the league. Despite all the issues the Red Devils have on and off the pitch, they have got results recently.

Goal scoring looked to be solved against Wolves, with the team hitting four. However, the defence conceded three times. Man United have now allowed 32 goals in 22 games and scored 28 times.

West Ham are sixth in the league and unbeaten in their last six games. The team has flown under the radar of late.

They drew each of their last three league matches. West Ham have also been guilty of conceding goals this season, with 33 allowed.

Moyes won’t have Michail Antonio or Lucas Paqueta due to injuries. Meanwhile, Said Benrahma and Vladimir Coufal are both suspended for the match.

Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof, and Lisandro Martinez could all be fit for the game. All three are recovering from minor injuries. Anthony Martial and Tyrell Malacia are both ruled out with injuries.

United will face an in-form West Ham at home. It is a venue that West Ham have not played well at historically. This should be a close game, with United once again conceding goals.

Our score prediction is for a 2-2 draw between Man United and West Ham, with nothing to separate these top-seven clubs.
