RB Leipzig and Union Berlin will clash in a huge game at either end of the Bundesliga table and we're here to bring you all the analysis, data, trends and football predictions for the Bundesliga this weekend.

Both sides are having very contrasting seasons in the Bundesliga so far, and Leipzig will be aiming to jump back into the top four this weekend and ahead of the in-form Borussia Dortmund.

They will, however, need to hope BVB lose and they win, as they do sit with a superior goals difference tally.

On the other hand, Leipzig are coming into this game with a trend of losing right now, as they sit with a three-game losing run.

They first suffered home defeats to Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen before an away loss to the high-flying Stuttgart.

Xavi Simons and Lois Openda did, however, keep up their impressive forms with a goal each in the loss to Leverkusen, while Openda was back amongst the goals against Stuttgart after Benjamin Sesko scored.

A further draw with Werder Bremen a few weeks ago also means a four-game winless run and that their last win was in a 3-1 victory at home to Hoffenheim, as Lukas Klostermann, Emil Forsberg and Mohamed Simakan all scored a goal each.

Leipzig have now managed to win 10 games and let in only 26 goals from 18 matches, meaning only the top two, Stuttgart and Frankfurt have better defensive records.

Marco Rose's side have also netted 42 times, which ismalsop only bettered by those in the top three.

As for Union, they continue to struggle in the Bundesliga this season with only five wins on the board.

However, not only have they lept out of the relegation zone in recent weeks, but created a five-point gap on Koln in 16th with a game in hand to play that could push them eight above the bottom three.

Better yet, only Bayern have been able to beat Union since the end of the winter break, as they drew with Freiburg before that loss in Munich and a win at home to Darmstadt.

Benedict Hollerbach was the hero in the 1-0 win against them.

These two have already met this season, as Leipzig ran out easy winners in the German capital with a 3-0 away win thanks to a late brace from Sesko and another goal from Simons. Kevin Volland was also sent off that day for Union.

Forebet predicts a win for Leipzig and under 2.5 goals.
