The Bundesliga finale edges closer with Borussia Monchengladbach and Union Berlin set to do battle at BORUSSIA-PARK where Forebet has grouped together the latest data, trends and football predictions for the weekend’s games.

It's been a poor season for these two sides who both remain within a chance of relegation.

On the other hand, it is Union who are in the worst place and it is them who could be in the bottom three if results go against them this weekend.

If Union does lose here to Gladbach and also if they see VfL Bochum and Mainz win their games, the men from the capital will be in the relegation playoffs spot.

Union did suffer another heavy defeat at home last time out, as Bayern Munich ran out 5-1 winners with Yorbe Vertessen scoring in the 90th minute for his side.

It was also the third defeat in a row for Union and their second loss in a row at home after Bayer Leverkusen also managed to beat them in between a loss away to Augsburg.

The last win for Union was in a 2-1 victory over Werder Bremen back at the start of March.

The club are also behind Gladbach in the Bundesliga table by just two points, so despite the idea of relegation looming, Gladbach themselves are also well within a shout of a drop into 2.

Bundesliga and also could be behind Union in the table with a defeat in this game.

They too are on a poor run of form but have got a win in April after an impressive 3-1 victory over Wolfsburg. Kou Itakura, Nathan Ngoumou and Rocco Reitz all scored a goal each in that game.

On the other hand, Gladbach are coming into this game knowing they lost 3-1 to Union in the reverse fixture.

Alassane Plea scored that day for Gladbach, but the game was won by a penalty from Kevin Volland and a goal each from Benedict Hollerbach and Mikkel Kaufmann.

Recently, Gladbach have also lost to Borussia Dortmund at home and suffered a 4-3 loss in a thrilling battle with Hoffenheim.

The data for the club now read quite badly on their behalf, as they have managed to lose 13 games this season and let in 60 goals - only Darmstadt in last place have let in more goals.

Forebet now predicts a win for Gladbach and under 2.5 goals.
