Barcelona in crisis ahead of Osasuna La Liga clash

Barcelona manager Xavi announced that he will leave the club at the end of the campaign, throwing the club into further crisis on and off the pitch.
On Wednesday night, Barcelona will host Osasuna in La Liga, as they seek to overcome last weekend’s collapse against Villarreal.
Barcelona conceded three goals in the final 16 minutes plus stoppage time, allowing Villarreal to come back to win 5-3 in a chaotic match.
The Blaugrana have a great record against Osasuna, so confidence could be high that they can get a win at home.
Osasuna are 12th in the standings ahead of their midweek trip to Catalonia. Los Rojillios are in good form ahead of the match, having taken seven points from the last nine on offer in La Liga.
Ten points separate Osasuna from the bottom three and 10 points are between Osasuna from the top six. Wednesday’s match will be the third meeting between the clubs this season.
Barcelona claimed a 2-1 win over Osasuna at El Sadar earlier this campaign in the league. The teams met once more in the SuperCopa de Espana, with Blaugrana winning 2-0.

Xavi has several players on the injury lists. Sergi Roberto, Alex Balde, Raphinha, Marcos Alonso, Gavi, and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen are all ruled out of the match with long-term injuries.
Jagoba Arrasate has no fresh injuries to worry about. The club are led in goal scoring stats by Ante Budimir, with 10 goals. The team’s scoring stats aren’t great outside of Budimir. No other player has more than 10 goals.
