The Ligue 1 leaders are back in action this Wednesday with Metz heading to the French capital as Paris Saint-Germain aim to make it to eight unbeaten games in a row and return to the win column after a dramatic draw.

PSG were leading for 30 minutes against Lille last weekend as Kylian Mbappe scored once again for his side from the penalty spot. However, a finish from Jonathan David in the 94th minute forced PSG to leave with just a point.

The champions of France have still managed to put a five-point gap on Nice in second and are on an unbeaten run of eight games after draws with Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League too.

This does also mean two draws in a row for PSG following that clash with Dortmund, meaning their last win came in a comeback victory at home to Nantes where Bradley BNarcola and Randal Kolo Muani scored a goal each.

PSG's last loss was in a 2-1 defeat at the San Siro to AC Milan, but after finishing second in their group, they now have Real Sociedad to play in the round of 16 in February, while this will also be the final game of the year in France and until action resumes with the Trophee des Champions battle at the start of January against Toulouse.

As for Metz, they will merely be happy to have their head above water this season with a three-point gap on Lyon in the relegation zone.

So far, the club have just four wins on the board and eight defeats too, letting in 24 goals - only Nantes have let in more for those sitting outside of the bottom three.

Metz have also scored 15 times, but after a third loss in a row recently, the club are winless since the end of November when they defeated fellow strugglers Lorient.

Metz have gone on to lose to Lille, Brest and Montpellier ever since that win that has now seen them rocket down the league table.

Further wins for Metz this season have seen them beat Nantes 3-1 and Lens, but as those wins came all the way back in September and October, respectively, Metz are now sitting on a run of just one win in the past eight fixtures in Ligue 1.

Forebet predicts a win for PSG and over 2.5 goals.
