Before the Round – Trends of Mexico Primera Division (8-9/07)

The Mexican Primera kicked off round No 1 of the Apertura last weekend. Round No 2 kicks off this week, with an incredible set of fixtures.

After one week of action, Atlas lead the table thanks to goal difference. Last season’s Apertura was won by Pachuca, while the Clausura title went to Tigres.

Club Necaxa - Club Tijuana

Club Necaxa and Club Tijuana will meet on Saturday, with both teams seeking a first win of the season. The last three matches between these clubs ended in 1-1 draws. Home-field advantage has been massive in games between Necaxa and Tijuana.
