Gameweek 26 of the 2022-23 Fantasy Premier League season gets underway on Saturday, March 4, with Manchester City hosting Newcastle United in the early kick-off.

Today, we profile the best players for FPL Gameweek 26, looking at the top goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards. But first, let’s check out the fixtures.

Liverpool vs. Manchester United is undoubtedly the standout clash this weekend, while Arsenal, Chelsea and Brighton have favourable home fixtures.

It is also worth noting that four teams – Brentford, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Southampton – play twice in Double Gameweek 27, with multiple teams blanking and doubling in BGW28 and DGW29.

With that in mind, here are the best FPL players for GW26 and beyond.

Goalkeepers

David Raya (Brentford) and Robert Sanchez (Brighton) are bound to be popular picks this week, as both goalkeepers have favourable home fixtures in GW26 before playing twice in GW27.

Elsewhere, Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) stands a strong chance of keeping a clean sheet at home to Bournemouth, while Keylor Navas (Nottm Forest) could extend Forest’s hot streak on home soil against Everton.

Defenders

With Bournemouth visiting the Emirates Stadium, William Saliba (Arsenal), Ben White (Arsenal) and Gabriel (Arsenal) look set to pick up points this weekend, as do Reece James (Chelsea) and Ben Chilwell (Chelsea).

If you want to plan ahead, you could benefit from bringing in DGW27 defenders such Ben Mee (Brentford) and Lewis Dunk (Brighton). Eric Dier (Tottenham) and Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa) are also in good form.

Midfielders

Phil Foden (Man City) is back in FPL contention after bagging an FA Cup brace in midweek, while Marcus Rashford (Man Utd), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal) and Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) have the potential to score big in GW26.

With DGW27 on the horizon, Solly March (Brighton), Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton) and Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) are exciting options. James Ward-Prowse (Southampton) and Eberichi Eze (Crystal Palace) are also worth considering.

Forwards

Erling Haaland (Man City), Joao Felix (Chelsea), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) and Brennan Johnson (Nottm Forest) all stand a good chance of hauling this weekend.

In the Monday night clash, Ivan Toney (Brentford) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) have the potential to cap off the Gameweek with big scores, Plus, Toney plays twice in DGW27.
