Inter Milan have already wrapped up the Serie A title with five matches to spare, but we have an intriguing top-three battle to enjoy this weekend.

Juventus trail AC Milan by five points ahead of Matchday 34, with the two sides set to meet at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening.

In this preview, we discuss all the key stats, trends and analysis. Keep reading to discover what Forebet’s AI algorithm predicts for Saturday’s showdown.

Juventus head into this clash on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Lazio in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, although they booked their place in the final after winning 3-2 on aggregate.

In Serie A, Max Allegri’s men have drawn each of their last two matches, with a goalless stalemate against Torino preceding last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Cagliari.

It is also worth noting that Juventus have won just one of their last seven league games, with only two victories coming in their previous 12 outings.

Considering that Allegri’s side suffered a solitary defeat in their opening 22 matches, it’s fair to say that Juve have endured a monumental drop-off in recent times.

On Monday, AC Milan suffered a 2-1 defeat to Inter Milan, handing the title to their bitter rivals in front of their adoring fans at San Siro.

That loss ended a seven-game unbeaten streak in Serie A for the Rossoneri, who secured five successive victories between early March and early April.

When you look at the bigger picture, Milan have lost just two of their last 18 league encounters, picking up 12 wins and four draws along the way.

Better still, the Rossoneri have lost only three of their 17 away league outings this season, with six victories coming in their previous eight clashes on the road.

Head-to-head: Juventus have managed to win just one of their last six Serie A meetings with Milan, suffering four defeats in the process.

To make matters worse for Juventus, they have failed to score in four of their previous six league matches against the Rossoneri.

Team news: Juventus striker Moise Kean is an injury doubt for this weekend, with Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli banned for the foreseeable future.

As for Milan, Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria are suspended after seeing red in the Milan Derby, with Pierre Kalulu and Tommaso Pobega on the visitors’ injury list.

Given that each of the last five Serie A meetings between Juventus and Milan have produced under 2.5 goals, Saturday’s clash will likely be a low-scoring affair.

Forebet predicts that Juventus and Milan will play out a cagey draw in Turin, with both teams netting under 1.5 goals.
