It’s third against fifth in Serie A this weekend, although both sides head into Sunday’s showdown at the Stadio Olimpico in questionable form.

With four matches remaining, Roma trail Juventus by six points, meaning the club from the capital will be eager to close the gap before it’s too late.

In this preview, Forebet covers all the key stats, trends and analysis. Keep reading to find out what our predictive analytics model forecasts.

Roma came from behind to rescue a 2-2 draw against Napoli last weekend, courtesy of an 88th-minute equaliser from English striker Tammy Abraham.

That result means that Roma have lost just one of their previous 10 Serie A matches, picking up six wins and three draws under the guidance of Daniele De Rossi.

Better still, the capital club have won nine of their last 14 league games, scoring over 1.5 goals in seven of those victories.

Having won 11 of their previous 15 home games in Serie A, De Rossi’s men will be confident of picking up another positive result this weekend.

Juventus also registered a draw last weekend, playing out a goalless stalemate with AC Milan, despite racking up 18 shots while not facing an attempt on target.

Interestingly, Max Allegri’s side have drawn each of their previous three Serie A matches, with another goalless stalemate coming against arch-rivals Torino last month.

Juventus have now won just one of their last eight Serie A games, registering only two victories in their previous 13 league encounters.

To make matters worse for Allegri’s men, they have failed to win any of their last six away league outings, recording three draws and three defeats in that time.

Head-to-head: Roma have managed to win just one of their last seven league meetings with Juventus, suffering four defeats during that period.

It is also worth noting that Juve have won two of their previous four away league games against Roma, recording a solitary loss at the Olimpico since 2020.

Team news: Roma have reported no fresh injury problem ahead of Sunday’s showdown, meaning De Rossi has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.

Juventus have also seen their injury list clean up in recent weeks, although Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli remain sidelined as they serve bans.

Given that Juventus have drawn each of their last three Serie A matches, Sunday’s clash will likely be another close-fought battle.

Forebet predicts that Roma and Juventus will play out a low-scoring draw in the capital, with both teams netting under 1.5 goals.
