We have a full round of midweek Premier League fixtures to enjoy, with 10 matches taking place between Tuesday and Thursday.

On Tuesday evening, West Ham United host London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, as both sides aim to enhance their respective European aspirations.

Can the Hammers return to winning ways on home soil? Or will Spurs spoil this party? Continue reading to discover what Forebet’s AI algorithm predicts for this clash.

West Ham looked certain to claim all three points against Newcastle United on Saturday, as they led 3-1 at St. James’ Park with less than 20 minutes remaining.

However, David Moyes’ side conceded three late goals to throw away the points, meaning they remain seventh in the table – four points outside the top six.

Not only have the Hammers failed to win each of their last three league games, but they have also failed to win nine of their previous 11.

That said, Moyes’ men have remained consistent on home soil of late, losing just one of their last 10 Premier League matches at the London Stadium.

Meanwhile, Tottenham came from behind to defeat Luton Town 2-1 on Saturday, with Son Heung-min scoring the winner on 86 minutes.

It's fair to say that Spurs deserved to claim all three points last time out, as they racked up 70% possession and 17 shots on home soil.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have now won three of their last four Premier League encounters, with nine victories coming in their previous 14 league games.

It is worth noting, however, that Tottenham have struggled for consistency on the road, winning just one of their last five Premier League away outings.

Head-to-head: West Ham have only managed to win one of their previous five meetings with Tottenham across all competitions, suffering three defeats in that time.

In the Premier League, however, the Hammers have lost just two of their last seven matches against Spurs, picking up three wins and two draws along the way.

Team news: West Ham look set to be without injured duo Alphonse Areola and Nayef Aguerd for Tuesday’s clash, while Edson Alvarez is suspended.

As for Tottenham Hotspur, Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon and Fraser Foster will miss Tuesday’s showdown through injury.

Although West Ham United have impressed on home soil throughout the campaign, their overall form is a cause for concern.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Tottenham will score over 1.5 goals on their way to defeating West Ham at the London Stadium.
