Newcastle United and Fulham will meet at Craven Cottage this Saturday with the Magpies aiming to get closer to another domestic cup final. Here we have all the stats, football predictions and probabilities for this game.

It’s the FA Cup fourth round this weekend where sides in the Premier League will park their league form and move their hopes to a cup run in the world’s oldest football competition as Newcastle United heads to Fulham.

Fulham have been a little bit better this season after only two losses in all competitions in the past month that also includes a New Year's Day win over Arsenal that saw Raul Jimenez and Bobby De Cordova-Reid get wins in the home victory of last season's runners-up.

A win in the FA Cup would follow with a victory over the Championship strugglers Rotherham United, as De Cordova-Reid bagged himself another goal.

Liverpool were up next in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg, where the Cottagers took a 1-0 lead and were unfortunate to find themselves behind at the end of the game after a solid display at Anfield.

Fulham lost a west London derby with rivals Chelsea soon after, but with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in leg two of the EFL Cup semi-final, they are now on an unbeaten run of three games since losing to Burnley in a stunning defeat at home.

As for Newcastle, their woes continued last time out with a loss to Manchester City when leading the game 2-1 at a time. Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon scored excellent goals that day.

Nevertheless, and despite a loss to Liverpool as well this year so far, Eddie Howe’s men got a magical victory over their arch rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, which was the first win over the Black Cats in 12 years.

However, despite some thinking the win probability heads in Newcastle's favour for this game, these two are only separated by five points in the Premier League table with Newcastle down in 10th in what has been a rough season for them after finishing fourth last time out. In fact, the Magpies now sit behind the top four by 14 points.

Newcastle's away record has been poor this season too, as they lost to Luton Town last month on the road as well, meaning their last away win was in the EFL Cup round of 16 against Manchester United almost three months ago.

Forebet predicts a win for Fulham and over 2.5 goals.
