10th takes on 11th this Tuesday in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano taking on Valencia where only goals difference separates the two sides in pursuit of the top 10 where both sides are level on points.

Heading into the game, it’s Valencia who are ahead of Vallecano after a commendable draw for the 10th-placed side against Barcelona over the weekend.

Hugo Guillamon was the hero that day with an equaliser in the second half, as Valencia had four shots on target from 11 efforts.

The club, however, have now not won a game in the league for the past five matches and after last beating Granada at home with a late first-half penalty from Pepelu.

Ever since that win, the only victory the club have seen was over Arosa in the Copa del Rey second round that saw Roman Yaremchuk back amongst the goals in a narrow win over the team way down in the Tercera Division.

Despite fighting relegation earlier on in the campaign, Valencia have still managed to put together five wins in the league and move themselves seven points above the bottom three.

They have still let in 22 goals and scored only 18, but it's that extra two goals scored and one less conceded that keeps them above Vallecano.

The winless run in La Liga for Valencia has even seen them lose to Getafe, although they managed to draw 0-0 with Celta Vigo and got that draw against Barcelona. Further results have seen them lose to Real Madrid 5-1 and lose to Girona 2-1.

As for Vallecano, they lost to Osasuna 1-0 last time out, which is the main reason they fell behind to Valencia in the table and now sit 11th.

They are also on a winless run right now and have also only won in the Copa del Rey within this time, beating Yeclano 2-0 two weeks ago with thanks to goals from Radamel Falcao and Raul de Tomas.

During this winless run, Vallecano have also managed to draw 1-1 with Barcelona and lose by the same 2-1 scoreline to Girona. However, they managed to get a 0-0 draw with Real Madrid but also lose in a 4-0 battering to Athletic Club.

The last win for them was against Las Palmas way back in late October, as Bebe scored a penalty with just seconds left on the clock.

Forebet now predicts a draw and under 2.5 goals.
