Switzerland Looking to Seal Euro 2024 Qualification by Beating Kosovo

Switzerland will be looking to book their place at Euro 2024 this weekend when they meet with Kosovo at St. Jakob-Park with the nation failing to do so in their last outing against Israel back on Wednesday.
Both of these teams have faced off against Israel in the past week, but while Kosovo defeated them 1-0 thanks to another finish from the in-form Milot Rashica, Switzerland drew 1-1 with them in a game that could have booked their spot at next summer’s finals.
Ruben Vargas got another goal that day, but Edimilson Fernandes was sent off and now misses this match.
Nevertheless, qualification is still well in the Swiss’ hands, as they now sit with a four-point gap on Israel in third and four points above Kosovo with two games to go in Group I.

Kosovo can also still qualify for Euro 2024, but it is going to take nothing short of a miracle.
They will need to win their final two games to put them on 16 points, and hope Israel and one of either Romania or Switzerland fail to win their final two games to leap into the top two.
The nation did also draw 2-2 with Switzerland in their first meeting, as Vedat Muriqi continued to shine with two goals, including one in the 94th minute of the game.
