Real Madrid head to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to meet with a struggling Sevilla side off the back of a tremendous start to life in all competitions for the 14-time champions of Europe.
Carlo Ancelloti’s side have been exceptional so far in 2023/24 and now head into this one off the back of four wins in a row since their stunning loss in the Madrid derby to rivals Atletico Madrid.
This has seen the club beat Las Palmas 2-0 immediately after, as Joselu continued his exceptional form with another goal after Brahim Diaz also scored.
Real would then beat Las Palmas 3-0 where Joselu scored once more before Aurelin Tchouameni bagged in the first half. Jude Bellingham kept up his stunning start to life in Spain with another goal in the second half, although Nacho Fernandez was sent off in added time.
The Spanish giants also recorded a sensational win over Napoli in the Champions League away in Naples where Bellingham scored again after Vinicius Junior bagged in the first half of a 3-2 win.
Bellingham kept up his magical form with two more goals in the 4-0 win over Osasuna, where Vinicius and Joselu scored a goal each in the second half.
Real are sitting top of La Liga and two points clear of Girona and three ahead of rivals Barcelona ahead of next weekend's first El Clasico of the season.
As for Sevilla, just like last season, they have started this campaign in terrible form. The club are down in 14th and have only secured two wins from eight games so far and come into this one with four losses too.
The lack of wins have seen Sevilla put together three winless games in a row since their excellent victory over Almeria at home.
Since then, they have lose 1-0 to Barcelona and also gone on to draw 2-2 in the Champions League away to PSV Eindhoven, which now means just two points from two Champions League games - Youssef En-Nesyri and Nemanja Gudeij scored for Sevilla in that game before two late goals from PSV.
Last time out in La Liga, Sevilla drew 2-2 with Ray Vallecano where En-Nesyri scored once more with a 96th-minute equaliser after Djibril Sow scored in the second half.
It’s been a tough season so far for Sevilla and it may get worse with Real and Arsenal up next in the next five days. Forebet predicts a win for Real and over 2.5 goals.
