Nothing But an Arsenal Win Expected Over Bournemouth
2446

The league leaders will look to keep up their bid for a first Premier League title since 2004 with Arsenal set to welcome relegation fighters Bournemouth to the Emirates with the Gunners coming into this game with nothing but all three points expected.

It was a nervy night at times for Arsenal in midweek as they played out their game in hand over Manchester City against Everton in hopes of going five clear once more in the Premier League title race.

A strong first half from the Toffees and a few chances for them forced a 0-0 draw just before half time.

Bukayo Saka would score five minutes before half time, as Gabriel Martinelli stole the show with two goals and one just before half time and the other 10 minutes from time. Martin Odegaard also scored in the 4-0 win with 20 minutes left on the clock.

The Gunners are now sitting top of the table by five points once more with no more games in hand with 39 points left on the table from the 13 games.

At the same time, the league is all Arsenal have to concentrate on alongside the Europa League, as City fight in the Champions League and the FA Cup. Mikel Arteta's men have now scored 56 times in the league, and only City have netted more.

What's more, the recent midweek victory means three wins in a row for Arsenal since losing to Manchester City at the Emirates, as they've beaten Aston Villa 4-2 and Leicester 1-0 before battering Sean Dyche's men.

As for Bournemouth, they come into this one with yet another defeat. Their 4-1 loss to City means they have now lost 13 times and won the fewest games in the league with 13.

Worse yet, they've scored 22 times and let in 48 goals to put on record the worst defensive record this season so far in the Premier League.

It keeps the south coast club down in 19th and with a gap of one point to make up on Leeds United in 17th. On the other hand, the Cherries have a game extra to play over Everton in 18th after their midweek clash with Arsenal.

Nothing but an Arsenal win here is expected as the league’s worst defense and a potentially relegated side meets with a potential league winner.

The Gunners have also only lost at home once this season in the league, and Forebet predicts them to win with over 2.5 goals in the game.
