On Wednesday evening, Udinese hosts Salernitana at the Dacia Arena, in a game that could be massive in the visitor's survival hopes this season.
Udinese heads into this game in good league form, having recorded three straight victories in the Italian top-flight against Cagliari, Venezia and Empoli.
The Bianconeri have also been prolific in front of goal of late, scoring at least two goals in each of their recent league wins.
Despite the home side's recent good league form, Udinese is in the limbo of 12th place in the table with seven league games remaining. They are not going to get into Europe and they are not going to suffer relegation either.
The Bianconeri have been in strong home form of late in the Italian top-flight, as they are currently unbeaten in four home matches in Serie A. They have also scored at least two goals in four of their last six league games in Serie A on home soil.
Salernitana are bottom of the Serie A table, nine points from the safety of 17th place, although they do have two games in hand on 17th place Cagliari.
A record of just one win in the Granata’s last 12 matches in Serie A has hampered their chances of beating the drop this season. However, a 2-1 away win at Sampdoria last time out ended a three-game losing run in the Italian top-flight for the visitors.
The win was only Salernitana’s second away win in 11 league matches on their travels. It also ended a run of three straight away defeats in Serie A. Salernitana have still conceded at least two goals in three of their previous four away games in the Italian top-flight, though.
Forebet predicts that Udinese will record a victory in a low-scoring encounter to push Salernitana closer to Serie B.
