RB Leipzig will aim for a fifth win in their last six matches versus Borussia Dortmund in all competitions on Saturday.

The match will feature two teams in the top five and a win for either club could reignite a Bundesliga title challenge.

Leipzig will go into the match in good form after taking 12 points from their last 18 points on offer. They outscored their last six opponents 15-7.

Marco Rose’s team may be in good form, but they struggle on the road. RB Leipzig lost their last two away matches.

They were beaten 2-0 by Mainz and 2-1 by Wolfsburg. Borussia Dortmund should feel confident of winning at Signal Iduna Park against the road strugglers.

Borussia Dortmund are not in form going into the match at home. They failed to win four of their last five league matches, picking up five points from 15.

The Yellow and Black drew 1-1 in a heavyweight bout versus league leaders Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. The draw could give Edin Terzic’s team the confidence it needs to push on.

Dortmund have played well at Signal Iduna Park this season. They posted a record of 4W-1D-1L and a goal difference of +2.

The defence has struggled at home, conceding 10 times. Meanwhile, the attack scored 12 goals.

The last six games between these clubs saw at least 2.0 goals. Four of the last six matches ended with both teams scoring goals. Four of the last six games ended with over 2.5 goals scored.

Rose could be without several players due to injuries. Defender Julian Ryerson is out with an MCL injury.

Forward Youssoufa Moukoko will miss the game following a hamstring injury.

Marius Wolf and Marcel Sabitzer are both expected to miss the match with leg injuries. Meanwhile, Sebastien Haller and Felix Nmecha are both sidelined with injuries. Terzic could have Gio Reyna back following an illness.

Rose, who spent one season in charge of Dortmund, won’t have Timo Werner due to an injury. Midfielder Dani Olmo is also sidelined following a shoulder injury. He is a long-term absent. Willi Orban will also miss the match. He is suffering from a knee injury.

Openda could get onto the scoresheet. He is the league’s third-highest scorer and could move closer to top scorer Harry Kane.

Leipzig are not playing well on the road this season, which should lead to their downfall at Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund should post a 3-1 win over Leipzig. Striker Lois Openda is in great form, with 10 goals this season.
