Luton Looking for the Upset of the Season at Home to Arsenal
Luton Town vs Arsenal - 05/12/2023

Luton Town will play hosts to the league leaders Arsenal at Kenilworth Road this Tuesday night with the hopes of creating one of the biggest upsets of the season and put on record consecutive home wins.
It’s been a tough start to life in the Premier League for Luton with the club only getting two wins on the board this season so far.
The Hatters fell back to losing ways last time out when they met with Brentford away from home, as Jacob Brown scored late on for the club with barely anything to shout about during that game.
Luton did, however, get their first home win in Premier League history before this, as Teden Mengi scored the game's opening goal before Brown scored once more to win the game at Kenilworth Road.
Against an in-form Arsenal, however, things are likely to be very different for Luton. They will, however, no doubt live off the fact that they managed to get a draw with Liverpool a few weeks ago on home soil, as Tahith Chong scored before a brutal late equaliser from Luis Diaz.
Luton are still above the bottom three by two points with Everton's 10-point deduction taking them into 18th and pushing the Hatters out of the relegation zone.
Arsenal are sitting top of the Premier League once more with a three-point gap on Manchester City down in third place.
They have also put a two-point gap on Liverpool in second and have now scored 29 goals and put together the best defensive record in the league with just 11 goals.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard scored goals early on in the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out before a late Wolves game brought the game to 2-1. Prior to this, six different goalscorers got in on the act with a 6-0 thrashing over Lens in the Champions League.
Fabio Vieira is set to miss this game for Arsenal, while Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey are out for a few more games. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber are out for a long time.
As for Luton they have nine injuries to deal with, as Dan Potts, Mads Andersen, Reece Burke and Cauley Woodrow are all out injured and won't return until around Christmas time. Sambi Lokonga is nearing a return, but may not do so here, while Tom Lockyear, Teden Mengi and Marvelous Nakamba are all out too.
