Forebet is back for more La Liga action this weekend with Celta Vigo and Villarreal set to do battle in Spain’s top flight, so we’ve put together the latest data, analysis, football predictions and probability of winning in this game.

Celta Vigo continue to fight relegation, although they are heading into this game in significantly better form than was previous and now a gap of four points on Cadiz in 18th.

On the other hand, they were smashed by Deportivo Alaves 3-0 on the road in the last outing.

Nevertheless, a 4-1 victory on home soil over Las Palmas was arguably the biggest of the season for the club with them having a stunning 21 shots and 13 of those hitting the target from only 31% of the ball.

Iago Aspas was once again the hero that day with a goal in either half, as Williot Swedberg and Anastasios Douvikas also netted a finish late on in the game.

Despite the improved form and another win recently, Celta Vigo will still likely battle the drop until the final two or maybe even the final game of the season.

They have also managed to get a win over Sevilla in the past six weeks, defeating them on the road in a 2-1 win where Carles Perez and Jorgen Strand Larsen scored a goal each.

These two recent victories are part of only seven in total for the club across the 33 games in La Liga right now, and worse yet, they've also now lost 16 times, which is more than Cadiz's tally in the bottom three.

Celta Vigo also have the worst defensive record for those sitting outside of the relegation zone in La Liga, after, ironically, Villarreal's tally of 54.

It has been a topsy-turvy season for Villarreal with them now up into ninth after previously sitting outside of the top half of the table for chunks of the season.

The club are still fighting for a spot to get back into Europe for this season, with them now only behind Real Sociedad in sixth by six points with still five more games left to play. This comes after a two-game winning run for the Yellow Submarine.

They first managed to defeat Almeria by a narrow 2-1 scoreline before easing to a 3-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano. Villarreal also managed to draw 1-1 with Athletic Club in early April.

Forebet now predicts a win for Villarreal and over 2.5 goals.
