Paul Pogba looks set for a return to Juventus after leaving Manchester United, while Christian Eriksen appears to be heading to Old Trafford. But there are still plenty of top-class free agents in need of a club this summer.

Let’s take a look at five high-profile free agents who could be on the move in the coming weeks.

• Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015. During his stay in Turin, the Argentine playmaker won five Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies – bagging 115 goals in 48 games across all competitions.

The 2019-20 Serie A MVP will have no shortage of suitors this summer, given his pedigree. The 28-year-old has been linked with several Italian clubs, as well as Premier League sides such as Man Utd and Arsenal.

• Ousmane Dembele

In 2017, Barcelona made Ousmane Dembele one of the most expensive players of all time when they paid Borussia Dortmund €105 million to acquire his services. Fast-forward to today – the Frenchman is a free agent.

Dembele made 150 appearances for Barca, racking up 32 goals and 34 assists along the way. However, he never really managed to settle at Camp Nou and is now looking for a new adventure.

• Jesse Lingard

Jesse Lingard joined Man Utd’s academy as a 7-year-old, all the way back in 2000. 22 years later, the 29-year-old is searching for a new team after parting ways with his boyhood club.

It has been reported that Lingard could be on his way back to West Ham United, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell in 2021 – notching nine goals and five assists in 16 appearances. He has also been linked with Everton and Newcastle.

• Andrea Belotti

Andrea Belotti left Torino earlier this summer after climbing to sixth place on the club’s all-time goalscoring leaderboard. Between 2015 and 2022, the prolific marksman netted 113 goals in 251 games.

The striker has also scored 12 goals in 44 international outings for Italy, so he should be in high demand. At this stage, Ligue 1 side Monaco appear to be leading the race to secure his signature.

• Luis Suarez

Even at the ripe old age of 35, Luis Suarez has a lot to offer. The Uruguayan recently left Atletico Madrid, although he is best remembered for his time at Barcelona and Liverpool.

The veteran forward has scored more than 500 goals for club and country over the years, picking up several European Golden Shoes and domestic Golden Boots. If the rumours are true, he could join Argentine giant River Plate.
