There is nothing quite like seeing a flying winger tearing down the wing and taking on defenders, is there?
Below, you can find the top five players who have achieved the most take-ons across Europe’s big five leagues this term.
• Adama Traore – Wolverhampton Wanderers (45)
If you follow the English Premier League, you probably won’t be surprised to see Adama Traore right at the very top of this list.
The Wolves winger has completed a whopping 45 take-ons in ten Premier League appearances this season, meaning he averages 4.5 successful dribbles per game.
However, the Spaniard has yet to register a single goal or assist this term – underlining his struggles when it comes to dishing up an end product.
• Kamaldeen Sulemana – Rennes (41)
Kamaldeen Sulemana has featured in every single Ligue 1 game for Rennes this season, making nine starts and four substitute appearances.
At just 19 years old, the Ghanaian winger is a key player for Bruno Genesio’s side – and he’s got the numbers to prove it.
Not only has he made 41 successful dribble this term, but he has also contributed four goals and two assists in the process.
• Vinicius Junior – Real Madrid (40)
It’s safe to say that Vinicius Junior has taken his game to another level this year. The Real Madrid youngster has racked up nine goals and seven assists in 16 outings across all competitions.
Still only 21, Vinicius is beginning to show why Real Madrid paid Flamengo €45 million to acquire his services all the way back in 2018.

Is Allan Saint-Maximin the king of take-ons? Best known for his crazy trickery, the French magician has notched 40 successful dribbles this season.
His end product has improved, too. The Newcastle man has bagged two goals and three assists in 11 Premier League games this term, trying his best to impress the new owners.
• Alphonso Davies – Bayern Munich (39)
Although Alphonso Davies is primarily used as a left-back by Julian Nagelsmann, he has still managed to achieve 29 take-ons in ten Bundesliga appearances this season.
The Bayern Munich young gun has started all but one of Bayern Munich’s league games in 2021/22, chalking up four assists in the process.
