The battle between the teams of Galatasaray and Real Madrid continues this season of the Champions League. In the last edition of the tournament the whites managed to overcome this opponent in the quarterfinals. However, the team lost its visit to Turkey with 3-2 and it is expected that Real will again be put under serious pressure from players like Drogba, Sneijder and Eboue.
Carlo Ancelotti has major problems mainly related to the defense of his team. Raphaël Varane, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso and Fábio Coentrão are injured and will miss this match. In view of the strong attack of the home team, these absentees seriously tip the scales in favor of the hosts. Nevertheless, Real's attack strength is undeniable and bearing in mind players like Benzema, Ronaldo, Isco, Di Maria and Bale, we can definitely expect a lot of goals in this match. The big question is whether Gareth Bale, who scored on his debut for Real Madrid, will take part in this game.
Real Madrid managed to score at least 2 goals in their last 5 games against Galatasaray in all competitions. The hosts will have to consider seriously their defence, if they do not want to recieve many goals. Certainly we will see an exciting clash, in which it is quite likely a lot of goals to be scored.
