Italian champions Juventus have roared back to the top of Serie A in recent months. The Bianconeri could stretch their lead over second-place Napoli to four points with a victory over Atalanta on Wednesday evening at the Allianz Stadium.

Max Allegri’s side have been in formidable form of late in the Italian top-flight, recording 11 straight wins in Serie A, including a 2-0 victory over Udinese in their last league outing.

A big factor in their recent league form has been resolute defensive displays, as the Old Lady have kept clean sheets in their last eight outings in the Italian top-flight. The recent clean sheets have contributed to many low scoring league games for the men from Turin of late, with under 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last eight outings.

Allegri’s team also have a good recent home record in Serie A, winning seven of their last eight home games, including their last four without conceding a goal.

Atalanta are currently eighth place in Serie A, six points behind the European spots despite a recent good run of form in the Italian top-flight.

The visitors are unbeaten in their last five Serie A games, recording three wins and two draws. Last time out in the league, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side won 1-0 at Bologna.

Like the home side, Atalanta’s recent Serie A games have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six league outings.

Atalanta are very dangerous opponents on their travels, as they are unbeaten in seven away games in Serie A, recording five wins in the process. Keeping that unbeaten record going in Turin would be a massive achievement for Gasperini’s team.

Forebet predicts that Juventus winning run will continue in this clash and that game will be full of goals.
