Arsenal v PSG set to be a tight one

Arsenal and PSG have both already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League. However, on Wednesday night the pair clash at the Emirates Stadium in Group A of the competition.
These two teams have very similar records, with both having won three and drew one of their four games so far. The only game the pair has not won was, in fact, the reverse fixture that finished 1-1 in Paris.
The pair are on level points and a draw in the reverse fixture means this game becomes pivotal to who wins the group. Arsenal are currently ahead of PSG courtesy of their away goal in Paris. However, that could all change if Unai Emery’s side achieve a positive result on Wednesday night.
If Emery’s side achieve a 1-1 draw, then goal difference will come into play, as the head-to-head would be equal. That would still leave Arsenal in the driving seat heading into the final game, as the Gunners have a goal difference that is three better than that of PSG’s.
PSG will be confident of picking up a positive result, though, as they are on a nine-game run without losing and have won eight of those games. They have also claimed victories in their last four away games in all competitions.
PSG have been prolific in this competition of late, having scored two or more goals in eight of their last ten outings.
The home side are not in the greatest of form heading into this game. However, they have remained unbeaten for the last 17 games in all competitions. The Gunners have also suffered just one defeat from their last 15 outings at the Emirates Stadium.
Forebet predicts that Arsenal will win this clash. However, this game could be a very tight one and it is unlikely to be an easy victory for the team from north London.
