Galatasaray are fresh off a win over Manchester United on matchday No. 2 of the Champions League group stage. Now, the Turkish giants will face off with reigning German champions Bayern Munich on matchday No. 3.

The Turkish team’s performance at Old Trafford was excellent. Head coach Okan Buruk masterminded a strong performance from the team and will hope for another big win against Bayern at home.
There were no recent matches between Galatasaray and Bayern Munich. This will be their first encounter since a 2000 friendly fixture.
