A huge game goes down in Naples this weekend with Napoli and Roma doing battle just one week on from the former officially losing their Serie A title and Forebet is back for more of the latest data, analysis and trends to find the probability of a win.

It’s been a dreadful campaign for Napoli and after officially losing their league title to Inter Milan on Monday when they managed to defeat AC Milan, the Naples side have put together the worst title defence since Fiorentina back in 1992.

Napoli are now down in eighth and behind Roma in fifth by nine points and adrift of Inter in first by a stunning 37 points with only 49 on the board for the club.

They have also now lost 10 times this league season after a stunning defeat away to Empoli, as they also drew 2-2 with the struggling Frosinone before this.

In fact, Napoli have secured only one win this month after a 4-2 victory over Monza where Victor Osimhen was back amongst the goals, alongside finishes from Matteo Politano, Piotr Zielinski and Giacomo Raspadori.

Other results within the past few weeks have seen Napoli lose 3-0 at home to Atalanta, draw with Inter and Torino 1-1 and lose to Barcelona in the Champions League.

This means that since the start of March, Napoli have only two games, as they also managed to edge past Juventus seven weeks ago.

European football for next season looks to be off the cards for Napoli, although they can still finish sixth and end up in a Europa Conference League spot, as they are still five games left to play but just a gap of five on Atalanta in sixth.

As for Roma, however, they are looking likely to finish fifth, but after a stunning loss to this season's surprise package, Bologna, at home, they are now behind them in fourth by four points.

On the other hand, with a Europa League semi-final to look forward to soon as well, Roma are eyeing up a third consecutive European final.

Daniele De Rossi’s men did get back to the win column last time out with a win over Udinese in a game that was rescheduled after the collapse of Evan Ndicka.

Romelu Lukaku got another goal that day, as Bryan Cristante scored the winning goal in the dying embers.

Forebet now predicts a draw and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
