Have Everton turned the corner in the race for Premier League survival? The Toffees went unbeaten in four of their last six matches in the Premier League.

On Saturday, Everton will travel to south London to face off with Crystal Palace, as they seek a third straight game without a defeat.

Sean Dyche’s team will begin the day in 16th place and five points above the relegation zone. A win and results going their way elsewhere could send Everton as high as 13th.

Crystal Palace are 11th ahead of round No. 12. The Eagles are coming off a win against Burnley, 2-0. The victory ended a two-game losing streak for Roy Hodgson’s team. Palace are just five points off the top six.

Selhurst Park has not been kind to Everton in recent visits. The Merseysiders failed to win their last three games in south London, losing twice and drawing once.

Indeed, Everton were held scoreless at Selhurst Park in their last two visits to the stadium.

Everton’s recent matches in the Premier League were all low-scoring affairs. Each of their last three matches saw under 2.5 goals scored.

Still, Everton picked up 10 points from the last 18 points on offer. They outscored their last six opponents 9-6. Seven of Everton’s 11 points this season came on the road.

Crystal Palace picked up eight points from the last 18 points available to them. They scored a mere four goals in those six fixtures.

Palace have only taken five of their 15 total Premier League points in games at Selhurst Park this season. Could Everton be the ideal opponent to claim three points from?

Hodgson will be without at least four players for the fixture. Michael Olise remains sidelined with a thigh injury.

James Tomkins is out with a calf issue. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is out with a thigh injury. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is also out with a thigh strain.

Dyche also has four players on the injury list. Dele Alli remains out of action, with a groin strain. Andre Gomes will miss out with a calf issue.

Midfielder Amadou Onana could return following a calf issue. Onana is key to the Everton midfield this term and is needed for Dyche’s tactics to work. Full-back Seamus Coleman is unlikely to be fit to play after suffering an injury.

Saturday’s game should be low on goals, with another Everton match seeing under 2.5 goals tallied. Like last season’s match at Selhurst Park, this one should finish nil-nil.
