With the draws for the 4th and 5th Rounds of the FA Cup being completed on Monday night, we now have a clearer idea of the path that the competitions favourites will have to take to get their hands on the illustrious trophy.

Manchester United vs Liverpool is clearly the tie of the round and the winner of that particular match will surely fancy their chances of going all the way in 2021. Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Wolves and Everton all got kind draws, but who exactly are the favourites to win and what are their current odds?

Man City

Pep Guardiola’s men have been drawn away at League Two side Cheltenham Town and are the current odds-on favourites to lift the FA Cup at 11/4. Providing City beat Cheltenham they will face an away trip to either Swansea City or Notts Forest in the 5th round.

Chelsea

An under-pressure Frank Lampard will be happy with a home tie against Luton in the 4th Round and a possible away trip to Barnsley or Norwich in the 5th Round won’t hurt either. Chelsea are priced at 6/1 to go one better than they did last season and win the FA Cup.

Tottenham

Spurs have been drawn away at struggling Championship side Wycombe Wanderers in the next round. However, a potentially tricky away tie at Goodison Park could be their reward for beating Wycombe, if Everton can beat Sheff Wed that is. You can get odds of 7/1 on Tottenham winning the FA Cup, which might not be a bad bet considering the club has an affinity with winning trophies in years ending in a 1.

Liverpool

Klopp’s men probably wouldn’t be ranked this low had it not been for their 4th Round draw away at Manchester United. After easily despatching Aston Villa’s youth side, Liverpool face a very tough test at Old Trafford, yet remain higher favourites than United to win the cup. A home tie against either West Ham or Doncaster awaits in the 5th Round. You can get odds of 8/1 on Liverpool going all the way in 2021.

Man Utd

Manchester United edged past Watford in the last round with a weakened starting eleven but won’t be able to rest on their laurels in the 4th Round as they have been drawn at home against the Premier League champions. As mentioned above,  decent home tie against the Hammers is the most likely reward for beating Liverpool and the Red Devils are currently priced at 12/1 to lift the FA Cup for the 13th time in their history.
