Hertha Berlin are still not yet out of the woods when it comes to relegation, as the team from the German capital are just two points clear of the relegation play-off spot and also the last automatic relegation spot.
Despite their seemingly perilous position in the table, Hertha Berlin have been in decent form of late, as they have lost just one of their last four games in the German top-flight. Last time out they drew 1-1 with Union in the capital derby.
One factor that could prove crucial for the Old Lady is that they have now recorded back-to-back home wins against Augsburg and Bayer Leverkusen, scoring at least two goals in both victories.
Their recent league matches at the Olympiastadion in the Bundesliga have been high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven league outings.
It seems that Monchengladbach may have got their campaign back of track in recent weeks after a terrible run of results in February and March. The Foals have now recorded back-to-back wins against Schalke and Freiburg while scoring at least two goals in both wins.
The victories have given Marco Rose’s team a chance of making the European places this season. However, the Foals are still ninth-place, four points behind the top-six, so it is a slim hope.
