Fulham will be looking to continue their climb out of the Premier League relegation zone when Leeds United visit Craven Cottage on Friday night.

Scott Parker’s side currently sit eighteenth in the table, although the gap between them and seventeenth-place Newcastle United is now just two points.

Meanwhile, Leeds find themselves twelfth in the standings – ten points ahead of Fulham – following a three-game winless run.

When you look at the wider picture, Fulham have only managed to win three of their last 20 matches in all competitions.

However, it is worth noting that Parker’s men have lost just three of their previous 11 league games, picking up three wins and five draws in that time.

There was a point earlier in the campaign when it looked as though Fulham were destined to go straight back down to the Championship.

But recent victories over Everton, Sheffield United and Liverpool have given the Cottagers a real chance of avoiding relegation.

On the flip side, Leeds United have failed to score each of their previous three Premier League games, although they managed to draw 0-0 with Chelsea last weekend.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have not enjoyed playing away from home of late, having lost all of their last three games on the road.

Following a run of four wins in six games across December and January, Leeds have since won just two of their previous eight Premier League matches.

Meanwhile, Patrick Bamford has adapted to the top-flight seamlessly, bagging 13 goals and six assists in 28 appearances this term.

Head-to-head: These two sides produced a seven-goal thriller in the reverse fixture back in September, with Leeds winning 4-3 on that occasion.

Looking at the bigger picture, Leeds have only lost two of their last ten games against Fulham, securing three wins and five draws along the way.

It is also worth pointing out that Leeds have scored over 2.5 goals in each of their last two meetings with Fulham.

Team news: Fulham trio Marek Rodak, Tom Cairney and Bobby Decordova-Reid are all currently sidelined through injury.

As for Leeds, they will be without Pablo Hernandez and Adam Forshaw on Friday, while Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford are both doubts.

Fulham and Leeds have produced some high-scoring encounters in recent times. But given the current form of both sides, Friday’s game is likely to be a cagey affair.

Forebet predicts that Leeds will beat Fulham at Craven Cottage, edging out Parker’s side by just a single goal.
