Leicester City to end winless streak at Fulham
Fulham vs Leicester City - 03/02/2021

Leicester City’s title fight in 2019-20 ended after Christmas as they fell away due to poor form. The same thing is about to happen to Brendan Rodgers’ team in 2020-21 as Leicester City are now two-games without a win in the league.
On Wednesday, Leicester City head to London to face off with Fulham at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers are in a fight for their Premier League status. Although Fulham have drawn back-to-back games, they are still seven points off of 17th-placed Brighton.
Fulham may be collecting draws, but they are not winning matches. Their inability to gain all three points by turning draws into wins is causing them to inch closer to the drop.
The Cottagers shocked Leicester City at the King Power Stadium 2-1 back in November. Fulham got goals through Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro in the first half. Leicester City didn’t get on the scoresheet until the 86th minute courtesy of Harvey Barnes. Can they shock the Foxes again?
Rodgers could be without Jamie Vardy as he continues to recover from a minor surgery. Leicester City struggle without Vardy and those struggles have currently been seen in back-to-back games without wins.
Defender Wesley Fofana is likely to make the squad although he has a thigh injury. Meanwhile, Dennis Praet, Wes Morgan, Timothy Castagne, and Wilfred Ndidi are all ruled out of the Wednesday night fixture.
Scott Parker has just two injuries at Fulham and both are long-term issues. Midfielder Tom Cairney is to miss the game through a knee injury while Terence Kongolo has a thigh problem.
Neither club brought in players at the transfer deadline as both clubs will do with the squads they have for the rest of the term. Parker wanted a new striker but was unable to land one in the market.
Leicester City may be winless in two straight games, but they did take 11 points from their last 18 on offer. Goals have dried up with just nine scored over the course of those six games while six were allowed to opponents.
Fulham, on the other hand, took just four points from their last 18 possible. Those four points came from draws.
Leicester City should end their current winless run with or without Vardy. Fulham may have shocked Leicester City earlier this season, but that shouldn’t happen this time around.
Leicester City are unbeaten in five straight away matches and should make that a run of six road games without a loss.
