Both teams have scored in four of Wolfsburg’s last six fixtures and over 2.5 goals have been produced in each of those four matches. The visitors have kept one clean sheet in their last five Bundesliga games, but won’t be expected to keep another when they go up against Lewandowski and co.
The Polish striker tops the scoring charts once again this season, netting 13-goals in just nine starts for Bayern Munich. The hosts look set to be without a few of their key players on Wednesday, as Kouassi, Sule, Martinez, Kimmich, Feldhahn and Tillman have all been ruled out through injury. Steffen, Malli, and Mehmedi are all injured for Wolfsburg, and Guilavogui is rated as doubtful.
Given the form both teams find themselves in, a draw looks like the probable result on Wednesday. All the stats point towards goals being a plenty on Wednesday, so a final scoreline of 2-2 looks to be the most likely final score.
