West Ham continued their good run of form away at Leeds Utd last time out, securing a 2-1 win at Elland Road. The Hammers now sit 6th in the Premier League table and a win at home to Crystal Palace could move them into the Champions League places.

None of West Ham’s last six results have come easily. Wednesday’s hosts narrowly lost away at Liverpool 2-1 and were beaten at home by Man Utd 3-1. However, the London club have won their other four fixtures during that six-game run, all of which have been via a 1-goal margin. The Hammers beat Leeds 2-1, Aston Villa 2-1, Sheff Utd 1-0 and Fulham 1-0.

Both teams have scored in four of West Ham’s last six matches and on each of those occasions, over 2.5 goals were produced. Each of the last six meetings between West Ham and Crystal Palace have been close and competitive.

Both teams have scored in all of those last six encounters and over 2.5 goals were produced in four of those games. Three of those six games have ended in draws and all of the victories have been via a 1-goal margin.

Crystal Palace made it two games unbeaten thanks to their 1-1 draw with Spurs on Sunday. Palace had won their previous game 5-1 at West Brom, but three of their last six matches have ended in defeat. The visitors have lost three of their last five away games in the Premier League and would be right to be nervous heading into a tricky trip to West Ham.

Both teams have scored in three of palace’s last five outings and two of those games have produced over 2.5 goals. Palace secured the domestic double against the Hammers last season, winning 2-1 in both fixtures, but West Ham have the home advantage and form in their favour for this clash.

Michail Antonio is a doubt for the game due to a thigh injury and Arthur Masuaku has been ruled out for the hosts. Crystal Palace are going to be without Wickham, Kelly, Hennessey and Ferguson for the trip to West Ham, while Mitchell could return from a cold in time to feature.

A West Ham win looks the most likely result in Wednesday’s match, but a tight and tense game is expected. Everything points towards the a final scoreline of 2-1.
