Liverpool will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to eight Premier League games when they visit Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Sunday.

The Reds find themselves joint-top of the Premier League on 24, while at the other end of the table, Fulham are fourth from bottom with seven points

Fulham failed to win any of their opening six league matches this term, picking up just a single draw along the way.

However, Scott Parker’s side have since managed two win two of their previous five outings, beating West Brom and Leicester.

But the Cottagers head into Matchday 12 on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City. They only saw 31% possession and managed one shot on target at the Etihad last weekend.

Unfortunately, Fulham have been conceding a lot of goals at home. Six of their last eight home matches in all competitions have seen the away side scored over 1.5 goals.

It is also worth pointing out that Fulham have lost at half time/full time in four of their previous six matches at Craven Cottage.

On the flip side, Liverpool have not been losing at half time in any of their last 13 games in all competitions.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are also on a remarkable run of losing just four of their previous 49 Premier League outings.

Last weekend, the Reds thrashed Wolves 4-0, with Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip and Nelson Semedo (OG) getting on the scoresheet.

However, an understrength Liverpool team were held to a 1-1 draw by Midtjylland in the Champions Leaue on Wednesday.

Despite their recent dominance in the Premier League, it is worth mentioning that both teams have scored in 13 of Liverpool’s last 16 matches.

Head-to-head: Liverpool have won their previous six meetings with Fulham – a run stretching back to 2012.

Let’s not forget that the Reds have scored over 1.5 goals in each of their last six encounters with Fulham, too.

Team news: Terence Kongolo is likely to miss out for Fulham this weekend, although Kenny Tete is close to returning from injury.

Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Xherdan Shaqiri are all sidelined for Liverpool.

Fulham have improved in recent weeks, so the home side are likely to put up a decent fight on Sunday. However, Liverpool are expected to come out on top.

Forebet predicts that Liverpool will once again score over 1.5 goals on their way to victory over Fulham.
