The Wolves are now on a domestic four-game unbeaten streak, while they also boast the second-best defensive record in the division.
On the flip side, Liverpool won each of their opening three Champions League games this term without conceding a single goal.
The Reds beat Ajax (1-0) and Midtjylland (2-0), before securing a remarkable 5-0 thrashing of Atalanta on Matchday 3.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have also been in good form in the Premier League, losing just one of their 11 domestic matches this term.
Liverpool crushed Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 on Sunday, with Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip and Nelson Semedo (OG) getting on the scoresheet.
Klopp’s men are the Premier League’s highest scorers this season. They now find themselves joint-top of the table with Tottenham Hotspur.
Head-to-head: These two sides only have one previous meeting between them, with Liverpool beating Midtjylland 2-0 back in October.
The Danes managed to play out a goalless first half, although second-half strikes from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah handed Liverpool the win.
Team news: Jens Cajuste, Kristian Dirks Riis and Oliver Olsen are all injury doubts for Midtjylland at the moment.
Liverpool will be without Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Alisson, although Trent Alexander-Arnold could return to the starting XI after appearing at the weekend.
Klopp may choose to failed a weakened team due to Liverpool’s congested fixture schedule. However, the Reds should have more than enough quality to get the job done on Wednesday.
