There is still much left to decide in Group B of the Europa League, with one qualification berth still available heading into Thursday nights gameweek five clashes. The team in the driving seat to join Arsenal in qualifying for the knockout stages from the group is Norwegian outfit, Molde.

They head into Thursday night’s home clash with group strugglers Dundalk in second place in the group. However, the home side are only ahead of third-place Rapid Vienna courtesy of a 1-0 win against the Austrian team earlier in the group.

On paper, this is a golden opportunity for Molde to edge ahead of Rapid ahead of a gameweek six trip to the Austrian capital.

With Rapid facing Arsenal, a win here for Molde and a draw against their qualification rivals in their final group game would be enough for qualification for the knockout stages of the competition.

Erling Moe’s team’s recent record looks slightly inconsistent but is skewed by back-to-back defeats by Arsenal in the Europa League. With the Gunners in poor form, the Norwegian team will feel disappointed in an aggregate score of 7-0 over the two meetings with the team from north London.

Dundalk have experienced a disappointing campaign in Group B, as they currently sit bottom of the group, pointless from their four matches.

The Irish team are not enjoying much success at all of late in any competition, as they have won just two of their last nine games in all competitions, suffering six defeats in the process.

The visitor's poor recent results mean that not only are they off the pace in the race for the title in their domestic league, they are also already eliminated from the Europa League.

Things could get even worse for Dundalk, as Forebet predicts that Molde will record a victory in a high-scoring game to strengthen their chances of booking a place in the knockout rounds if the competition.
