Bayern to Return to Winning Ways at Stuttgart

Stuttgart sit 8th in the Bundesliga table following an epic 3-3 draw with Hoffenheim on Saturday. Stuttgart went behind early on, but goals from Gonzalez and Wamangituka thrust the visitors into a 2-1 lead.

Hoffenheim drew level after just 3-minutes of the second-half and a penalty in the 71st-minute put the hosts 3-2 up. Stuttgart looked like they were heading for a defeat until deep into stoppage time when Kempf scored an equaliser.

Stuttgart have now drawn their last four league games, but all have come against sides sitting below them in the table. Both teams have scored in five of Stuttgart’s last six matches and over 2.5 goals have been produced in two of their last three outings.

The hosts have failed to win any of their last four competitive home games and now face the league leaders.

Stuttgart have only won one of their last six encounters with Bayern Munich and that came away from home in 2018. The other five games during that period have e4nded in defeat. Three of the duo’s last five league meetings have seen both teams score and five have produced over 2.5 goals.

Bayern Munich top the Bundesliga by a single point following a disappointing 1-1 draw at home with Werder Bremen. Bayern went behind on the stroke of half-time and despite equalising shortly after the hour mark, the hosts had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Despite that stalemate, Bayern have won five of their last six matches in league and cup and each one of those victories has produced over 2.5 goals. Both teams have scored in each of Bayern’s last six outings, which suggests that Stuttgart will have chances to score on Saturday.

Lewandowski already looks set to win the golden boot award in Germany this season, having already netted 11-goals in the league alone.

Gonzalez, Al Ghaddioui, Cisse, and Thommy all look set to miss the weekend’s action for the home side through injury. Bayern have injury concerns over Tolisso but could welcome back Sule on Saturday. Sarr, Kimmich, and Davies have all been ruled out until late December at the earliest.

Forebet are backing an away win for Bayern this weekend as the visitors are in top form and have an excellent recent record against their hosts. There is a good chance that both teams will find the back of the net in Saturday’s clash and Forebet is expecting to see at least 3-goals scored.

Lewandowski has scored in each of his last two games against Stuttgart and is odds on to find the back of the net against them on Saturday as well.
