On Wednesday night, Ajax host Midtjylland at the Johan Cruyff Arena, as the Dutch team looks to enhance their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Ajax head into this game second place in Group D, but only above third-place Atalanta on goal difference. Erik ten Hag’s team have picked up four points from their opening three group games this season. Last time out in the competition, the Dutch champions recorded a 2-1 away win the reverse fixture.
