The home side will look to end a poor recent run of form in the Europa League in this clash, as they head into this game on a three-game losing run in the competition.
The Italian outfit will also be keen to improve their record of just four wins in their previous ten matches in the Europa League.
AZ Alkmaar have started the season in poor form. The visitors have drawn all four of their Eredivisie games after a 2-0 defeat against Dynamo Kiev in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
The Dutch team has also failed to win in their previous four games in the Europa League, even though they made it to the knockout stages of the competition last season.
The biggest issue for AZ last season in European football’s second competition was conceding too many goals, as they have conceded at least two goals in three of their last four matches.
