Switzerland welcome Germany to St. Jakob-Park on Sunday, with the two sides clashing in Nations League Group A4.
Switzerland currently sit bottom of the group after losing their opening game, while Germany are third following a draw.
Despite enjoying 56% possession against Ukraine on Thursday, Vladamir Petkovic’s side lost their opening 2020/21 Nations League game 2-1.

Having said that, Switzerland’s previous meeting with Germany came all the way back in 2012, so you can’t read too much into their overall head-to-head record.
Team news: Despite missing the majority of last season through injury, Niklas Sule and Leroy Sane both started for Germany against Spain.
It is unclear whether or not the Bayern Munich pair will feature from the off on Sunday, but Kai Havertz could feature after finalising his move to Chelsea.
As for Switzerland, goalkeeping coach Patrick Foletti tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, although it seems as though no players have been affected as yet.
Switzerland and Germany have both won four of their previous six outings in all competitions, so this is set to be a tight game between two in-form nations.
Germany clear boast the stronger squad, but Forebet predicts that Switzerland will hold the favourites to a low-scoring draw on Sunday.
