The defeat came in their first game back at defending champions Manchester City and it was a disappointing 5-0 loss. However, Burnley bounced back strongly from that heavy defeat and they have since beaten Watford at home plus Crystal Palace and West Ham United away.
Burnley have also picked up points in draws against Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers at home plus Liverpool away, the latter of which was a particularly good result.
Away from home in the Premier League Burnley have lost only one of their last 7 matches. There have been some great results including a 2-0 win at Manchester United plus a 2-1 victory at Southampton. Trends show there have been few goals scored in recent Burnley away games and they have seen under 2.5 goals in each of their last 3 away trips.
Looking ahead to the team news and Norwich City are without the injured Christoph Zimmermann, Grant Hanley, Moritz Leitner and Sam Byram. Adam Idah and Teemu Pukki will be hoping to start the game up-front.
Burnley travel with a lengthy injury list including Ashley Barnes, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor, Jack Cork and Matthew Lowton. They also have doubts over the fitness of attacker Jay Rodriguez.
This is a match which could see few goals but it is Burnley who come into the game as the favourite to take maximum points. The Clarets could come away with a narrow victory and a clean sheet.
