Fantasy Premier League Picks – Gameweek 33+

Don’t forget, the FPL Gameweek 33+ deadline ends at 11:30 (BST) on July 4, so make sure you get your transfers done at least one hour before Norwich vs. Brighton on Saturday.

To help you with your selections, here are eleven players who have caught the eye since the season got back underway.

Goalkeeper

Alisson - Liverpool

Alisson may have conceded four goals against Manchester City last time out, but Liverpool’s shot-stopper still has the most clean sheets of any goalkeeper in the Premier League this season. With struggling Aston Villa up next for the Reds, Alisson will be confident of enhancing his shutout tally.

Defenders

Ben Mee - Burnley

Bee Mee scored the winner as Burnley beat Crystal Palace on Monday, and the Clarets centre-back also kept a clean sheet. In fact, Burnley have now kept back-to-back clean sheets and have prevented their opponents from scoring in six of their previous ten games. Mee is an excellent budget pick.

Conor Coady – Wolverhampton Wanderers

Conor Coady has started every Premier League game for Wolves this season. The Wanderers’ captain has helped his side register three shutouts since the restart as they continue their push towards the top four. With an inconsistent Arsenal team up next for Wolves, Coady could be in for another successful game.

Midfielders

Willian – Chelsea

Despite losing to West Ham last time out, Willian scored both of Chelsea’s goals. The Brazilian has netted three times since the restart and now has four goals and one assist in his previous four league games. You’d be foolish to leave him out of your team in that sort of form.

Allan Saint-Maximin – Newcastle United

Newcastle’s unpredictable winger has been one of the division’s standout performers since the resumption. Saint-Maximin scored against Sheffield United before racking up a hat-trick of assists against Bournemouth, taking his overall tally to four goals and seven assists in all competitions this term.

Forwards

Marcus Rashford – Manchester United

Rashford is yet to score since the lay-off, although he has recorded two assists. The likes of Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes, and Mason Greenwood have been among the goals for Man Utd. But with struggling Bournemouth up next, Rashford will be confident of returning to scoring ways this weekend.

Danny Ings – Southampton

Danny Ings just cannot stop scoring. The Southampton hitman took his tally to 18 for the season with a brace against Watford, and he also scored and assisted against Norwich in Saints’ first game back. Only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Jamie Vardy sit above Ings in the Golden Boot charts.
