The weekend’s Premier League action kicks off on Friday night when Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Leicester City to Molineux.

Wolves will be looking to leapfrog Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham to reclaim sixth place in the table, while Leicester can move level with second-place Manchester City with a win.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have endured a tricky spell of late which has seen them win just one of their previous five league games.

During that time, Wolves were beaten by Watford before drawing with Newcastle. Santo’s men then secured a dramatic comeback win against Southampton before losing to Liverpool.

In their previous game, Wolves and Man Utd played out a goalless draw. Wolves had 15 shots at Old Trafford, but ultimately failed to make the most of their opportunities.

Wolves sit four points clear of tenth-place Arsenal, but a win would put them one point behind Sheffield United who currently occupy the Europa League spot.

While Wolves have Europa League ambitions, Leicester look destined to be playing Champions League football again next season.

The Foxes are third and have opened up an eight-point gap over fourth-place Chelsea. A top-four finish is highly likely, but manager Brendan Rodgers won’t want any complacency creeping in.

Rodgers’ men suffered back-to-back defeats to Southampton and Burnley in January before bouncing back with a 4-1 thrashing over West Ham.

A slender FA Cup win over Championship side Brentford was then followed by a disappointing EFL Cup semi-final defeat to Aston Villa, but a draw with Chelsea last time out proved Leicester are heading in the right direction.

Jamie Vardy still leads the way in the goalscoring charts, but the 33-year-old hasn’t scored since December. Rodgers will need his star striker to start finding the net on a regular basis once again.

Leicester have won six of their last eight away games in the Premier League, but the Foxes will find it difficult to take all three points away from Molineux.

Remarkably, Wolves are unbeaten in 27 of their previous 31 home matches in all competitions, proving that they are extremely tough to break down.

Santo will be hoping that in-from winger Adama Traore will be fit to face Leicester with the 24-year-old currently being assessed. Ruben Vinagre is ruled out for Wolves.

As for Leicester, Wilfred Ndidi should return, but Nampalys Mendy is sidelined through injury. On-loan Wolves defender Ryan Bennett is unable to face his parent club.

Wolves and Leicester drew 0-0 earlier in the season, and the two teams are likely to provide another tight game this time around.

Forebet predicts that Wolves and Leicester will once again hold each other to a low-scoring draw.
