Nottingham Forest have emerged as real contenders for promotion to the Premier League this season. The Tricky Trees head into Tuesday nights home game against Charlton with the possibility of moving into the automatic promotion spots.
Forest are currently fourth in the Championship table and a point outside the automatic promotion spots.
With promotion rivals Brentford and Leeds playing each other on Tuesday night, this looks like a golden opportunity for the team from the Midlands to move into the leagues top two.

A 2-0 win over second place Leeds last time out in the Championship means that Sabri Lamouchi’s team have now won six of their last nine league matches while suffering just one defeat in the process.
The Tricky Trees also have a good recent home record in the Championship, as they are unbeaten in five home games, having won four of their last five matches on home soil. They have proven to be relatively prolific in front of goal of late on home soil, scoring at least twice in three of their last four matches.
While Forest are attempting to get out of the Championship, Charlton are just hoping to stay in it. The Addicks are just four points above the relegation zone after a poor run of form.
In fact, Lee Bowyer’s team have now won just two of their last 19 matches in the Championship. Their poor defensive displays of late have not helped the Addicks results, as they have now conceded at least two goals in seven of the last ten league matches.
Charlton’s away form has also played a big part in their perilous position in the Championship table. The visitors have failed to win in 12 away games in the second tier, losing nine times in the process.
Forebet predicts that Forest will boost their promotion hopes by recording a victory in a low-scoring encounter.
