The German club is just four points off of top teams RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach. Just as it appeared Bayern Munich would struggle to fight for a title, they have suddenly re-emerged as a contender.
Wolfsburg have dropped to eighth place due to inconsistent play over the last few weeks. Wolfsburg have collected seven points from their last 15 and go into the weekend coming off of a midweek draw with Schalke.
Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last 11 matches versus Wolfsburg. They have collected nine victories during that 11-match unbeaten run against the Wolves. The visitors have never won away to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
When Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg met at the Allianz Arena last season, the home side won 6-0. They were 2-0 up a halftime before adding four more goals to the scoreline.
Thiago is suspended for the fixture which means Joshua Kimmich will slot into midfield. Mickael Cuisance is ruled out due to injury. Meanwhile, midfielders Leon Goretzka and Corentin Tolisso aren’t expect to play due their own injury issues.

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has scored 19 goals this season which is 43% of the team’s goals. Lewandowski is good value to find the back of the net once more this weekend. The Polish striker has bagged three goals in his last two games.
The home team should once again pick up a victory versus Wolfsburg and continue their push up the Bundesliga table. Both teams should score with over 2.5 goals tallied. Their last five matches in the league have seen both teams score goals galore, so expect over 2.5 goals to be scored.
