In-form Nottingham Forest to see off Cardiff
Nottingham Forest vs Cardiff City - 30/11/2019

Nottingham Forest inflicted a crushing 4-0 win away from home at Loftus Road against QPR in midweek which has lifted Forest up into 4th place in the Championship and they now return to their City Ground for this upcoming clash against Cardiff City this Saturday seeking a fourth win in five matches.
Nottingham Forest suffered a mini-slump last month which saw the Tricky Trees handed back-to-back defeats against Wigan Athletic and Hull City but Sabri Lamouche’s side have bounced back in impressive fashion by winning 3 of their subsequent 4 matches in the second tier to maintain their challenge for at least a play-off spot.
Recent wins against Luton Town, arch-rivals Derby County and the aforementioned victory over QPR have lifted Forest into 4th place and 5 points behind 2nd placed Leeds United prior to this weekend’s action in the Championship.
Forest have also won 3 of their last 4 matches at the City Ground too with victories over Barnsley, Brentford and Derby County (all by 1-0 margins)
They have also kept a total of 4 clean sheets out of their 7 home matches to date.
Onto Cardiff City, and The Bluebirds registered a solid and most welcome 1-0 home win against Stoke City during the week which lifted the Welsh club into the top half of the Championship and 11th place ahead of this tricky visit to Nottingham Forest this Saturday.
Cardiff City have suffered just 1 defeat out of their 9 home matches at the Cardiff City Stadium so far this season, but it’s been their poor form away from home which was a contributing factor in former manager, Neil Warnock, calling it a day at The Bluebirds, with former Millwall manager, Neil Harris, taking over at the helm.
The visitors have still yet to record an away win in this season’s Championship as the Welsh outfit have drawn 5 and lost 4 to date on their travels, and includes keeping just 1 clean sheet from their 9 outings on the road so far this term.
Indeed, Cardiff have managed to win just 3 of their last 15 away matches in the Championship and this could spell further trouble for the visitors this Saturday against a confident Nottingham Forest outfit who are starting to gather momentum.
