Fulham to bag the points against Hull
2144

A point in a 0-0 draw away from home at Middlesbrough last weekend meant that Fulham still remain in 7th place in the Championship, but The Cottagers return to Craven Cottage for this Saturday afternoon’s clash with Hull City looking to extend their unbeaten run on home turf to 5 matches.

Aside from their strange 2-0 defeat away at Stoke City a couple of weeks ago, Fulham’s overall results in recent times has been solid as Scott Parker’s side continue to stay in touch with the early play-off pack placings, sitting just one league position and 1 point behind 6th placed Bristol City.

With just that 1 defeat out of their last 9 matches overall, Fulham look a solid unit under Parker at the moment as his side have captured recent wins against reading 4-1 away and a 3-2 home win against Luton Town as well as taking points off Charlton Athletic and Middlesbrough.

Fulham are also unbeaten in their last 4 matches at Craven Cottage having registered wins against Wigan Athletic and the aforementioned Luton Town as well as holding league leaders, West Brom to a 1-1 draw.

Onto Hull City, and The Tigers recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season under manager, Grant McCann, with a 2-0 home win against Derby County which has helped lift Hull City up to a more respectable mid-table position of 13th place on the Championship ladder.

However, Hull’s results still continue to be inconsistent as the Humberside outfit have registered previous wins against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest but have then fallen to defeats to Huddersfield Town and QPR in recent weeks too.

The inconsistent streak is also evident in Hull’s record away from home so far this season too, as the visitors have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 to date on their travels, but they’ve lost just 1 out of their last 5 matches on the road.

Historically though, Hull aren’t renowned for their exploits away from home in the Championship as they’ve managed to win just 3 of their last 16 matches on their travels in the second tier, while being on the losing side in their last 2 visits down to the nation’s capital at Craven Cottage.

Fulham look solid at the moment and should account for Hull in this clash.
