West Ham and Sheffield United are level on 12 points heading into their clash at the London Stadium on Saturday.

The Blades sit 9th in the Premier League table, while the Hammers are two places below with an inferior goal difference.

Both teams have a record of W3/D3/L3 in the league this season. However, two of Sheffield United’s wins have come in their last four games, while West Ham have managed just one win in five.

Sheffield United boast the joint-best defensive record in the division having conceded just seven goals in nine top-flight matches.

Manager Chris Wilder builds on his team on a solid backline. This allows his side to soak up pressure from the opposition and then break on the counter-attack.

The Blades come into this match on the back of a famous 1-0 victory over Arsenal on Monday night. Sheff Utd defended expertly throughout the match, with Lys Mousset scoring the only goal of the game.

Wilder will be hoping for more of the same when his team travel to West Ham on Saturday.

The Hammers lost to Everton in the previous round. They created very little chances against the Toffees, so manager Manuel Pellegrini will be looking for a reaction from his players.

Sebastien Haller is the club’s top scorer. The French striker has netted four goals in nine league appearances this season but has scored just once in his last five matches.

Ukrainian forward Andrii Yarmolenko has three in six for the Hammers, while Aaron Cresswell has impressed at left-back.

However, Roberto will continue in the West Ham goal. First choice keeper Lukasz Fabianski is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.

With no fresh injury worries for Sheffield United, we could see Chris Wilder name the same starting eleven that performed so well against Arsenal.

The two teams have only faced each other twice in the Premier League era back in 2006/07. Both sides claimed home victories that season.

There really isn’t much between West Ham and Sheffield United at the moment. The sides have both picked up the same amount of points from their opening nine league games, so it’s difficult to predict who will come out on top.

For that reason, Forebet predicts that this one will end in a draw.
