It’s top vs. bottom in Group F as Arsenal welcome Vitoria to the Emirates on Thursday.
The Gunners have won both their Europa League matches this season, while Vitoria are yet to pick up a point.
The Portuguese side were beaten 2-0 by Standard Liege on Matchday 1 and lost to Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 in the previous round.
Arsenal beat Frankfurt 3-0 in their first match, before hammering Standard Liege 4-0 on Matchday 2.
However, Arsenal come into this match on the back of a disappointing defeat to Sheffield United in the Premier League.
The Gunners have won just four of their nine league matches, and have struggled to find consistency so far this season.
They have now conceded 12 league goals this term and must tighten things up at the back in order to move up the table.
After a slow start to the 2019/20 campaign, Vitoria have claimed three straight wins in Portugal’s top-flight.
They will head into this match full of confidence, but will be well aware of Arsenal’s results in this competition so far.
Edmond Tapsoba has been Vitoria’s standout performer this term. The 20-year-old center-back has been immense at the back and has also popped up with a number of important goals.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has used the Europa League as a platform for the club’s young stars to make a name for themselves.
Young Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli was the star of the show last time out as he bagged a brace against Standard Liege.
Joe Willock has scored two goals in two appearances in this competition, while the likes of Reiss Nelson and Bukayo Saka have also featured prominently.
Having reached the semi-finals a couple of seasons and ago and then finishing as runners-up to Chelsea last season, the Gunners shouldn’t have any trouble in qualifying for the knockout stages.
On the other hand, Vitoria are relative novices at this level and have left themselves with a mountain to climb in order to progress from Group F.
Arsenal are the firm favourites for this match and should overcome Vitoria with relative ease.
Forebet predicts a home win, over 2.5 goals for Arsenal and both teams to score.
